Our Belief
Drug Abuse Is Everyone’s Responsibility
The fight against drug and substance abuse cannot be left to families, healthcare professionals, law enforcement agencies or government alone.
It is a community responsibility.
A young person may encounter drugs at home, at school, among friends, online, in the community or through wider social influences.
That is why the response must reach every part of society.
EverGood Care believes that lasting change happens when different sectors of society stop working in isolation and begin working together.
We seek to create a movement in which:
- Parents and families become informed, supportive and proactive.
- Schools and educators become strong centres of prevention, awareness and positive development.
- Churches and faith communities help strengthen values, character, hope and purpose.
- Government and local authorities support effective policies, prevention strategies and community interventions.
- Healthcare professionals provide education, support, counselling and pathways towards recovery.
- Businesses and the private sector invest in youth development, skills and community initiatives.
- NGOs and community organisations strengthen grassroots intervention and support.
- Sports and creative organisations provide positive environments where young people can develop confidence, discipline and belonging.
- Community leaders help mobilise communities and champion prevention.
- Young people themselves become ambassadors for healthy choices and positive lifestyles.
Together, we can create communities where drugs have less opportunity to take root and where young people have greater opportunities to succeed.
