Drug & Substance Abuse Prevention…

Building a Drug-Free Generation

Drug and substance abuse is one of the challenges that sits at the heart of our community work.

We believe prevention must begin before addiction takes hold.

Our approach combines awareness, education, youth engagement, sport, community mobilisation, mental-health support, mentorship and positive alternatives.

But we also believe that drug abuse is not simply a youth problem — it is a societal problem.

That means the response must involve everyone.

Parents must be equipped.

Schools must be engaged.

Communities must be mobilised.

Young people must be empowered.

Government must be involved.

Businesses must contribute.

Healthcare professionals must support prevention and recovery.

Civil society must strengthen the response.

And society as a whole must refuse to normalise drug abuse.

Drug Abuse Is Everyone’s Responsibility
